Led since 1989 by Judy Hirt-Manheimer, author and award-winning early childhood music pioneer. this affordable, high-quality program Introduces parents and children to the fundamentals of music using a combination of live interactive songs, carefully-selected recordings by outstanding musicians in all genres, hands-on experiences with a variety of instruments, and dancing to upbeat music. The fun of music making is enhanced with scarves, a parachute, puppets, and instruments. A portion of each class is devoted to developing social and physical skills through play -- crawling, climbing, jumping, balancing, bouncing, using art materials, sharing toys, and more. Held in a space specially designed for early childhood education, featuring murals and a child-sized village crafted by Sesame Street artist Tim Clarke. This groundbreaking parent-child music program is known throughout the region for its effectiveness in educating young children and for creating a kind, accepting and joyful environment where friendships flourish. Twos and Threes Class

Music, dance, art, stories, and snack. A lively, creative, affordable program for parents/caregivers and children together. Instruments of all kinds are introduced and the basic elements of music making are taught. Children and parents have fun doing interactive art projects using a variety of media. Boys and girls move together with adults to engaging, upbeat music. In addition children have an opportunity to play and develop their social skills in an extraordinary facility designed by a former Sesame Street artist. Tuition: $270/18 classes. In an extraordinary facility staffed by an expert, loving faculty, children sing, dance, play instruments, do art, listen to stories, climb, jump, crawl, dress up, use their imaginations and discover the joy of learning in a nurturing environment. This arts-based class is available on Mon., Tues. and Fri. from 9:00- 11:00. $435 for the first class for half a year with 10% for the second and third days ($395). This class moves the child from experiencing to understanding music as we explore the orchestra and begin reading music and begin reading music. elements of Suzuki, Orff, and Kodaly techniques are combined with Judy Hirt- Manheimer's pioneering approach to music education.
