Ensemble Classes
This unique program, led by our highly experienced faculty, gives students the opportunity to play together and perform in a broad range of musical genres. The experience of peer musicians playing and making music together is one of the most rewarding and valuable aspects of music study. Ensemble experience helps students hone their rhythmic and listening skills, encourages teamwork and demands collaboration.
Ensembles currently offered include: Classical Chamber, Jazz, Rock, and African drumming. Students meet for 60 minutes each rehearsal session, 10 sessions per semester. Each ensemble will perform at the end of the semester and participants will all receive an audio CD of their final performance. Discounts are offered for students participating in multiple ensembles.
